Launched in mid-2017, the UTS Rocketry Team aspires to connect UTS students and Australia’s growing aerospace industry.
In the team, you’ll get to experience working in a variety of space-related projects. You’ll also get the opportunity to network with our industry partners. Together, a career in the space industry is more achievable than ever.
As well as running several projects at any given time, we’re also an active participant in the Australian Universities Rocket Competition (AURC). In his competition, the team works together to design and launch a single stage high-power rocket with a fully functioning scientific payload (Wow!).
Some of our projects include running research in propulsion, ground-control, avionics, and carbon-fibre manufacturing.
